Waterproofing
What's the worst thing that can happen to your roof? That's right, leaks!
The right waterproofing system acts as a barrier between your roof deck and your shingles and can mean the difference between you staying dry inside your home or not.
We install premium quality ice and water shield as an underlayment in determinded areas such as along the roof´s edges, around chimneys and vents, and in the valleys (low points in the roof where two sections of roof meet) to ensure water-tightness and leak prevention. It is recommended that the remaining roof deck be covered in a felt paper which is a layer of tar paper that provides backup waterproofing in case of leakage.
